Donna Simmons

I have lived in Somerset for most of my life and moved to Chilcompton in April 2011 with my wife Sandy and our dog Neve, we became part of the community very quickly. We have walked for miles, taking in hours of country fields, following village pathways and enjoying valley walks. We were so grateful for Chilcompton during covid, the open spaces and the best sky (always look up). Chilcompton, has a diversity of people, great architecture of old and new buildings, all the amenities you require and growing local businesses. I have interests in health and well-being, growing our infrastructure to accommodate new builds, environmental and green projects.
Looking to support our community with the challenges and changes required to keep Chilcompton a beautiful thriving village for all.

Pete Sinclair

After having lived overseas for many years my wife and I moved to Chilcompton in 2010. Locally, I am deeply interested in all natural and environmental matters, especially in regard to the river and also in how responsibilities are split between local and district governance.

Abigail Terry

I’m Abigail and I have lived in the village for nearly 30 years, and I now work locally. I feel that I can represent the views of villagers as well as my own having had more time recently to explore our wonderful village, I enjoy the peace and quiet that the village offers without being far away from bigger towns and cities. I’m a big sports fan, I like my music and also enjoy knitting and sewing (although I need more practice!)

Malcolm Rigby

I have lived in Chilcompton for more than 30 years. As well as my duties as Parish Clerk, I am Journalist, writer and maths tutor.
